There are numerous ways to master a subject. This includes learning how to make money online. Tip #3 in the series of how to make money online for beginners is to Exercise Situational Learning.
Desire to make money online with the pros? Wish to do it quickly? Okay,
unless you get a tutor to privately take you by the hand during the
learning process, you will have to learn how to make money online just like most of the rest of us... one step at a time.
Learning
how to make money online is not like learning how to cure cancer, so it
would make sense that there is a simple program to teach beginners how
to do it.
However, given that there are so many ways to basically
make money online, you will need to select one to begin with, and then
study that method from start to finish.
So this is why an easy to implement tip makes sense - employ Situational Learning.
If
you have read the series of articles, you will recall that the first
two tips were "Avoid the Shiny Thing" and "Understand that there is a
Learning Curve involved."
Situational learning is essentially mastering as the need occurs.
Recall
as a student when you had to learn.. Oh, let's say you had to learn to
calculate percentages. Someone always had the same question for the
teacher, "Why do I have to learn this?" or, "What good will this do me
in my life?"
So then, a sometime in the not too distant future,
you are working as a clerk at the local department store, and your cash
register machine freezes while you are attempting to check out a shopper
who is supposed to get a 15% discount on her purchase. You go into the
high school segment of your mind hoping to remember how to compute
percentage... Wouldn't that be the perfect time to teach you how to do
it? At the time of need?
That is an illustration of situational
learning. Learn a specific thing at the exact time you need to know it.
We do it all the time in every day life. Yet when you are trying to
learn how to make money online, as a beginner, you wish to learn the
whole course or program before you get started.
Some individuals
need to get an understanding of the process before they tackle the parts
individually, but make sure you go back and learn the pieces as you
need to put them into practice. If you learn as you need to learn, you
will retain much more of the content.
There are not a lot of
people who can sit back and examine a manual for a particular product
from cover to cover and actually remember the knowledge that is in the
guide. Almost everyone would then have to go back and refer to the
manual when a problem arises. The point at which we return to the manual
and get the necessary information is called situational learning. There
is an excellent chance we will retain the knowledge after learning it
this way.
An alternative name for situational learning is On The
Job Training. Every single company knows that, no matter how much the
new employee has "learned" in classes, they will have to train that
individual to do the job they were hired for.
If you want to
learn how to make money online, the course of action is similar. Go back
to the handbook when you need it. Eventually, you can leave the manual
on the shelf, because it will be part of your knowledge base.
